Botol Susu Aleena

Hi,

Bukan senang nak pilih botol susu anak, of course I did my own research about feeding bottle in general before buying it. There are a few things yang I akan consider before beli botol susu:

- Anti colic properties

- BPA Free

- Affordable

- Easy to get

- Easy to clean

I bought a few different bottles for my daughter, sebab tak tahu lagi dia punya preference.

Pigeon SofTouch 

After I read about most baby yang tak boleh terima nipple selain dari nipple ibu dia boleh tolerate dengan botol susu ni just because the teat is so soft compared to most teat yang ada dekat market,sebab tu most baby pun akan suka. Plus it is made from PPSU hance the high heat resistance and excellent durability. Tapi mahal for 160ml bottle harga around RM50+ macam tu. But don't worry Pigeon SofTouch ni ada botol PP jugak harga murah dari PPSU, but still more than RM35 rasanya. 

Tommee Tippee

Sebab sangat senang nak dapat, banyak orang jual. Harga agak berpatutan untuk imported bottle compared to other, below RM30 dah boleh dapat 5oz bottle. Anti colic properties. Wide neck bottle senang untuk cuci, but tak lah senang sangat nak bersih because of the curve, especially curve dekat dengan neck tu. Teat shape mimic mother's breast tapi teat dia boleh dikira agak keras lebih kurang macam teat botol susu biasa (classic) 

MAM 

Anti colic properties (Base ventilation systems), soft feels of the silicone nipple surface , can be sterilized in the microwave & easy to clean sebab bottom part of the bottle pun boleh buka. Measurement tick marks on the plastic cap ni sangat membantu bila nak bancuh susu. Price range for 5 oz bottle is around RM36- RM42 

 I also bought classic bottle with classic teat just in case my baby have classic taste. That bottle is from baby kiko and it is made from PES. Price range for PES bottle ni tak sure, Not more than RM20 rasanya untuk brand baby kiko, Kalau botol PES Avent or simba Of course mahal lagi dari Tommee Tippee/ MAM

I sebenarnya nak beli NUK because the teat shape is different from the rest yang I dah beli, but Aleena has made her decision, so tak payah lah I bazir beli botol lain just to try. She choose MAM bottle and Pegion SofTouch. But since MAM is cheaper, I will continue buying MAM bottle for Aleena sampai dia boleh tolerate dengan botol susu biasa. Lagi pun botol susu kena tukar lepas 3-6 months. Ada option yg lebih murah, silakan berjimat. Now, she use both MAM & Pegion bottle, tak kekok lansung untuk tukar-tukar bottle. However, Tommee Tippee Aleena memang tak nak. Baru masuk dalam mulut dia dah tolak dengan lidah, siap palingkan muka lagi. Punyalah dia tak nak. 

Yang penting sebenarnya teat shape. Kalau baby berkenan dengan teat shape jenis bulat, boleh beli bottle biasa je, or Avent, Tommee Tippee, dr brown, nuby, simba, comotomo etc. Kalau baby prefer yang leper, boleh try MAM or NUK. Tapi kalau baby jenis fussy sikit, boleh try Pigeon or mimijumi. Kalau boleh beli lah botol PES or PPSU sebab nya baby ni susu dia akan selalu kita panaskan & botol kita selalu sterile, PES & PPSU lebih durable & ada heat resistance lebih tinggi dari botol PP.

My recommendation untuk newborn in case kalau susu badan tak ada lagi & nak bagi anak susu formula between these 4 option boleh try botol Pigeon. Flow paling slow between these 4. BUT, in my case masa first 2 days susu tak ada lagi, I bagi baby susu guna syringe tapi kena very careful or you can use small cup (penutup botol ubat batuk yang ada measuring scale tu) sebab I tak nak anak I confuse. Kalau boleh nak ajar anak pakai botol susu after week 4.


MAM  Easy Start Anti-Colic Bottle Review

So far, Aleena tak ada kembung sepanjang guna botol ni. Nak cuci sangat senang & diyakini bersih sebab bahagian bawah boleh buka. Tapi leceh sikit bila nak lap, sebab dia ada banyak part nak dilap. Teat dia ada  surface yang soft (macam velvet) and teat tu pun lebih lembut dari Tommee Tippee .Since dia tak ada mention botol ni made from PES or PPSU I assume it is made from PP. Tapi Bottol dia keras & plastik tebal compare dengan Tommee Tippee. Overall, I puas hati dengan botol MAM ni.
